Independent swimmer

Rhyan has been begging to go swimming the last month. We were able to go yesterday but only for a short time due to the weather (it is almost summer, right?). Today Rhyan was ready to take off her floaties and have Grandma Debbie show her how to swim! She did an excellent job! Rhyan was quick to learn how to kick her legs while scooping her arms at the same time. After a little while, she was feeling pretty brave and was staying in the shallow end without her water wings (she's now tall enough to stand with her feet flat and her head above the water). Fortunately Grandma was right there to make sure Rhyan was safe!
