Love to eat turkey...

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! Although Chad had to work all day and didn't get to his mom's house until 6, I took the kids over in the afternoon and we were able to spend some time with their cousins. Before we went over, the kids helped me make pumpkin pies (which turned out very yummy, by the way)!

Rhyan's preschool had a Thanksgiving feast on Monday. She was really excited to help me make pumpkin bread the night before. Grandma & Papa were able to take time from work to come and eat with us, too! All the parents filled out a "thankful turkey" and Ms. Laura read them out loud to the class with each individual child. It was a special time for each preschooler to hear how and why their parents were thankful for them. It was a good for me, too, to take time and write down why I am thankful for (both) of my kids!
