Sledding fun for everyone

I'm watching my nephew and niece, Blake and Jewel, during the Christmas break. Today we decided to take the four kids to the Junior High to go sledding. We met my brother-in-law Brandt there since he got off work early today, and Chad's friend Shawn, who came with his dad and two girls. My father-in-law met up with us later bearing cookies!

Rhyan waited patiently in the house while I made hot cocoa. She watched her brother and cousins having fun in the snow.




Chad decided to blow up a couple inner tubes we've had since the summer so Rhyan decided to help out with shoveling the sidewalk.

When we got to the Junior High, Hunter immediately went down the hill. After a couple times down on his stomach, he ran into the fence at the bottom of the hill. He walked away with a bloody mouth and scraped up nose.

This isn't a masked robber trying to abduct my daughter, it's just Brandt coming back after he took Rhyan down the hill.

Blake got creative with carrying the tube back up the hill...

After awhile, everyone was pretty tired...mainly from the steep walk back up after each run! Here Brandt, Hunter, Chad and Rhyan are taking a hot cocoa and cookie break.

Rhyan was pretty wiped out so we decided to head back home to get warm.
